Cuba Camp Hawaii 2006 on Oahu's exciting North Shore was a huge hit and we thank all the campers for their warmth, spirit, and willingness to participate. it was an unforgettable experience of Cuban music, dance and culture here in the United States. We want also thank our phenomenally talented and generous instructors, who gave this project life.

The camp included three full days of folkloric, popular and contemporary dance classes, and incredible lineup of percussion and song classes, comfortable cabin accommodations, DJ dance parties, all with a few steps of the pristine shoreline and the breathtaking Waianae mountains. In addition, we also thank the Friends of CubaCaribe who helped make the event a reality. This was clearly a community effort and generated community spirit.
