Creative Movement a lo Cubano (ages 5-7)

Service Description

Exposing your child to world music, rhythms and movement has a profound impact on their development. This dance class series introduces the sounds and steps of Cuban dance and rhythm, all while learning basic skills and coordination. Designed for 5-7 year-olds, each class allows for creative expression, physical and musical growth! Taught by Ramón Ramos Alayo with both recorded music and instruments. Ages 5-7 Sundays 10:00-10:45 am Shawl Anderson Dance Center Each session will have 8 classes Session 3: Aug. 6- Oct. 1 (no class on Sept. 3) Classes are $140 per session or $20 drop in. Scholarships, sibling and Reduced rates available. It will not be necessary to take the first set in order to sign up for the second or third. No prior dance or music training is required. Classes will be taught bilingually. Instruments and skirts will be provided. Costumes & class showings TBD.
