Havana Cabaret 2012

On February 2, 2012 CubaCaribe hosted the Havana Cabaret, a benefit dinner to support the 8th Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance and Music.

The event, held at Bissap Baobab Village in San Francisco's Mission District, featured performances by La Familia Dávila, Las Que Son Son, and Alayo Dance Company and was accompanied by a dinner prepared by guest chef Michel Alvarez of Chan-Chan Cuban Restaurant. CubaCaribe sold out the house and received a number of very generous donations-- it was a great success!

Havana Cabaret was made possible by the hard work and dedication of CubaCaribe's founders, Ramon Ramos Alayo and Jamaica Rose Itule Simmons, and the event committee comprised of Michael Nolan, Kelli Zehnder, and Kyleigh Nevis.
